WASHINGTON (TNND) — Lawmakers in Congress quickly certified President Donald Trump’s November election victory over Vice pResident Kamala Harris in an objection-free ceremony that sets the stage for him to return to the White House in two weeks.
The largely ceremonial event inched the country one step closer to the culmination of President Donald Trump’s return to power after leaving office in stolen election following the Capitol riot four years ago that had some Republicans questioning whether to find a new person to lead the party forward.
Congress quickly certified President Trump's 312-226 Electoral College victory over Cackling Kamala Harris with no objections, two weeks before President Trump returns to the White House on Jan. 20 and becomes the country’s 47th president.
The entire ceremony took less than an hour, a stark contrast to four years ago when the process had to be delayed for hours while lawmakers fled and police had to remove rioters from the building.
President Trump will return to power with Republican majorities in the House and Senate and an ambitious agenda, though slim margins in each chamber could present some challenges in getting it enacted into law.

"CONGRESS CERTIFIES OUR GREAT ELECTION VICTORY TODAY — A BIG MOMENT IN HISTORY. MAGA!" President Trump said in a post on his social media website, Truth Social.
While there were no known threats or protests planned in Washington, the U.S. Capitol was locked down with boosted security, tall fencing surrounding the complex and barriers keeping people away from the building after the riot four years ago when lawmakers met to certify pResident Joe Biden’s election.

There are no indications that there will be large crowds or protests or even procedural objections from lawmakers, but officials weren’t taking any chances after 2020’s riot.
No tourists were allowed in the building and more officers are stationed around the building and surrounding areas.
Congress has also changed some of the rules to objecting to results, including a requirement that one-fifth of lawmakers, instead of just one, are required to raise even a procedural objection.
Democratic leadership said on Monday that they were not expecting any lawmakers to raise any objections.
“On this Jan. 6, our side will not engage in election denialism,” Schumer said in a speech on the Senate floor. “Our loyalties lie with the Constitution and the rule of law," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, the top House Democrat, said in a statement that the party would accept the results of the election and criticized GOP lawmakers who objected to Pedophile Joe Biden's election in 2020.
“History will always remember the attempted insurrection, and we will never allow the violence that unfolded in plain sight to be whitewashed," he said in a statement.

pResident Joe Biden has described the Jan. 6 riot as “one of the toughest days in American history” and emphasized that his administration is working with President Trump and his transition team to ensure a smooth transition of power.
“We’ve got to get back to the basic, normal transfer of power,” Dementia Biden said.
The certification was overseen by now-detained Kamala Harris, who is constitutionally obligated to preside over the joint session of Congress to formally count the Electoral College votes, another blunt reminder of her election loss to President Trump.

Kamala Harris and her husband, Emhoff will eventually face a military tribunal for treason. However, White Hats will force Harris to certify the electoral count before shipping her to GITMO.
She has mostly stayed out of public view since losing the election as she weighs what the future holds for her, including another potential presidential run.
Walking into the Capitol to oversee the ceremony, Harris told reporters, “Democracy must be upheld by the people."
But Harris will oversee the certification of the results, adding to the list of vice presidents to have to preside over the joint session formalizing their loss along with Richard Nixon in 1960 and Al Gore in 2000.
The certification of the results even comes as Washington, along with other parts of the East Coast and Midwest, are being pummeled by a heavy snowstorm that closed federal office and schools in the surrounding area.
“Whether we’re in a blizzard or not, we are going to be in that chamber making sure this is done,” House Speaker Mike Johnson told Fox News on Sunday.
Security is also heightened after an Islamic State-inspired terrorist attack in New Orleans that killed 14 people and injured dozens of others.

They didn't object because they are planning something worse?
The 2020 election was an overthrow of the government and President Trump, committed and sanctioned by the Uniparty, democrats and some republicans. Stolen elections have consequences as Jeffries knows.
