During a recent episode of Fox News's "Hannity" program, incoming Trump administration "border czar" Tom Homan laid out plans for how President Trump will not only tackle the border crisis but also address domestic issues involving interference and meddling by foreign governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Preparations are already underway, Homan revealed, for the mass removal of illegal aliens even before President Trump takes office in late January.
And Texas is playing a central role in the operation.
"We're not waiting until January 20th," Homan told host Kellyanne Conway. "Governor Abbott and I are already coordinating efforts to secure Texas's border at an unprecedented level."
Homan likewise praised Gov. Abbott for aligning with President Trump's vision.
According to Abbott, illegal migration in the Lone Star State has dropped by 86 percent due to policies the state started implementing during President Trump's first term, including the erection of border barriers and the imposition of stricter consequences for violators who try to illegally cross anyway.
President Trump’s new border czar warns that leaders of sanctuary cities could be prosecuted for harboring illegals]
"They need to be aware of a couple things," Homan told the independent media in an interview. "No. 1: impeding a federal law enforcement officer is a crime. No. 2: if you knowingly harbor or conceal an illegal alien from ICE, that's a crime. So don't cross that line!"
On day one, Homan, in accordance with President Trump's wishes, will pursue Department of Justice (DOJ) charges against any government officials who obstruct justice, i.e., by harboring illegals in violation of President Trump's mass deportation effort. Those caught breaking the law will pay if Homan has anything to say about it.
Sanctuary cities like Los Angeles already resisting President Trump
The former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homan was chosen by President Trump earlier this month to coordinate all of the president-elect's border security plans starting on Jan. 20, 2025.
Homan has already begun crafting a detailed plan for how everything will work in less than two months.
The plan already is to deport more than 14 million illegal aliens who sneaked into the country during fake Joe Biden's presidency, starting with those who are accused or convicted of crimes.
Some "blue" cities and states, including Los Angeles, are resisting.
The "City of Angels" in California recently passed an ordinance affirming its sanctuary city status.
As of 2017, California as an entire state is a sanctuary state, meaning illegal aliens can live there without fear of deportation simply for being illegal.
"Federal law trumps state and local law every time," Homan said, signaling that President Trump's federal efforts will have to be followed by all states and cities, regardless of whether or not they are "red" or "blue" politically speaking.
"If we know someone's in a county jail and we know they're there, how do we know it?" Homan asked. "When they run the fingerprints from NCIC, they bounce against the DHS database – we know, OK, we just got prints off this alien in this jail because his fingerprints just came back. And that's where he's at right now."
"So, if we know he's there, they don't give us access to him. Is that not harboring?"
Homan is planning to ask President Trump's attorney general – current Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is one possible nominee – to provide a formal opinion on whether or not a county or city jail's refusal to turn over illegal aliens to ICE constitutes a federal crime.
"I'll leave it up to the attorney general, but I think it needs to be fully reviewed," Homan commented about the matter. "And I hope they agree with me."
Homan believes that President Trump and the new GOP-led Congress – both the House and the Senate are now dominated by Republicans – can work together to create disincentives for harboring illegal aliens, i.e., by banning federal taxpayer funding to state and local jurisdictions that provide refuge or sanctuary to illegal migrants.
"We've got to pull federal funding," Homas contends. "We've got to take the money away."
"And look, I'm hoping to come to the game ready because President Trump and myself, we've been clear that public safety threats and national security threats would be the priorities right out of the gate. Public safety threats, national security threats, we got plenty in the fight. So, you know, what mayor or governor doesn't want public safety threats out of their communities."
Texas as a Model for Nationwide Border Security
Even though Texas is the only state right now that does not have a border fence – California, Arizona, and New Mexico all do – it is the state that the incoming Trump administration wants the rest of the country to follow.
Think of it almost as a blueprint for a federal strategy on border security, this being the choice of words that one independent media outlet used to explain how Texas will be the model for how America deals with illegal aliens under Trump.
"My plan is to contract out as much non-enforcement work as possible," Homan said. "We need officers on the streets for deportation operations, not behind desks."
Investigating Foreign Influence and NGOs
Homan and the Trump administration will also aim to investigate the role of NGOs in enabling mass illegal migration into the United States.
There is some kind of tangled web between these NGOs, the United Nations (UN), and other entities that are deliberately undermining America's national security with their promotion of illegal migration.
Reports from the House Judiciary GOP revealed that a whopping $81.7 million in taxpayer funds have been allocated to U.N. programs that teach illegals how to invade America.
This funding has facilitated the establishment of “migration centers” across Central and South America, which have aided nearly 70,000 illegal migrants seeking resettlement options in the U.S.
Since 2021 when Pedophile Joe Biden was installed into the White House, about 5.8 million illegal aliens were escorted into America with the help of these NGOs and UN programs.
Another 1.9 million illegals also entered during that same time, but they have been categorized as "gotaways."
"They want an open border because they believe these millions of people will be future Democratic voters," Homan contends.
Transparency and Accountability
Homan emphasized that the Trump administration would focus on transparency and accountability in addressing the crisis.
“We’ll investigate what the United Nations had to do with this, who in the Biden administration enabled it, and which NGOs were involved,” he said.
We'll be transparent and tell the American people the truth about this border crisis."
Kellyanne Conway, speaking to Homan during the interview, noted that his commitment to border security has been unwavering.
Not only does the incoming Trump administration want to tackle the problems that have already been caused by illegal migration – it also wants to address the root causes of it so the snake can be decapitated of its head, so to speak.
"You've made it clear that the Biden administration's open-border policies were intentional," Conway responded to everything Homan said.
"The American people deserve better."
