Top Republicans have vowed to introduce legislation to “defund” and “expel” the unelected globalist United Nations (UN).
In the decades since its inception, the international bureaucratic agency has been pushing to assert itself as a single-world government.
This un-American agenda, however, directly conflicts with conservative Republican values.
Yet, Democrat pResident Joe Biden and his administration have been pushing to deepen ties with the organization.
In response to the UN’s mounting power grab, Republican Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has indicated that he will file a measure to “defund the United Nations.”
“Tomorrow I will file by bill to #DefundTheUN,” Lee posted on Twitter/X.
“Please like and repost if you’d like to see that bill become law.”
Some House Republicans have responded to the call by pledging to also push legislation to yank funding away from the globalist organization.
“The UN doesn’t deserve a single DIME of American taxpayer money,” states a follow-up tweet from the X account for Roy’s office.
However, such legislation will likely be dead on arrival since it would be unlikely to have enough support to move through Congress.
In addition to expressing support for cutting off UN funding, Lee has also suggested that the United States should “expel them too.”
Earlier this year, Guterres tried to up the ante with climate doom by declaring that “global boiling” has arrived on Earth.
During fearmongering remarks at the COP28 summit in Dubai last week, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned of “the sickness bringing our climate to its knees.
“A sickness only you, global leaders, can cure.”
He asserted that “Earth’s vital signs are failing.”
He also demanded that all nations agree to a complete “phaseout.”
Almost immediately after making the demands, Guterres boarded his private jet.
The hypocrisy doesn’t end with Guterres, however.
Some of the nations that are currently members of the UN’s Human Rights Council include China and Cuba.
