I was the top 'A' in my logic class of 200 people. Top 'A' by 50%. My training was simple. Don't lie. My parents taught us why lying was bad, and to understand why the lie came about. Just once, as an independent and mature 12 year old, I tried to lie about my not mowing the lawn while dad was gone on a business trip for two weeks. I saw stars for three days. No blood, no bloody nose, no cut lip, no bruise, no black eye, no broken glasses, just this little cloud of stars that followed me around for a few days. Stay away from liars and grant them ZERO respect.
