Sorry.. its too hard to stretch my imagination to believe this whole piece of cloth. It's not about Jesus, or trying to dismiss him. It's about an old cloth. I won't invest belief in it. The Vatican sell tiny pieces of wood sewn in a tiny leather case, saying it's a piece of the original cross. They make money off of dead people. There is nothing holy about it. It's consumerism. Mel being overly dramatic again.

God leaves this incredible, miraculous artifact to a wretched, useless, self-righteous, corrupt, ungrateful, ignorant and faithless rabble. Just looking at the comments makes me wonder why he even tries.

There have been many times in my life that Almighty God has been there for me when I absolutely did not deserve it. His timing is always perfect because he knows the beginning from the end.

Interesting. If all of the DNA was identifiable wouldn’t that dispel the myth that it once contained the body of Jesus as He was both man and God? Would not His blood samples reveal God’s DNA (not human) as well as Mary’s DNA (human)? Wouldn’t God’s DNA be unidentifiable? Would a different scientific method need to be conducted to identify His genes? Can genetic testing on the Shroud only reveal information about human traits and ancestry but not able to determine a Divine connection or His attributes?

He was not half god, he was man. But according to Ron Wyatt he had the blood tested from the arc of the covenant and it showed only 24 chromosomes as opposed to the 40 everyone else has. Because he was placed in Mary as a seed from God he had only the chromosome from her and 1 from God is my understanding. Worth looking up Ron on rumble.

As Christians we do not need this evidence! We only need the words of the Christ. This is a ridiculous argument not needed. Your Bible specifically says stop chasing and worshiping symbols. This has been a Catholic tradition for centuries, it never ends with them. Mel Gibson is a Catholic = I never read my Bible = I believe in man’s/ the Catholic Church TRADITIONS. “This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth’s and honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. But in vain do they worship me teaching the DOCTRINES and the commandments of men.” “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”

They are lying. There are numerous videos of the actual scientists and their testimony. The ones that denied it was real were paid $5 million after the fact.
